Wake Up America— ISIS is Coming

On July 14, 2016, at least 84 people were killed when a large truck plowed through a Bastille Day crowd in Nice, France. The driver also opened fire from his gun before mowing down numerous people who had gathered to watch fireworks. At this point, no group has claimed responsibility, but an ISIS connection is strongly suspected.

Mark my words, its only a matter of time until our homeland suffers a ferocious attack, perhaps even worse than September 11! Most likely it will be much greater in scope than San Bernardino and Orlando.  God forbid that weapons of mass destruction are the radical Islam terrorists’ weapon of choice to inflict even more catastrophic assaults against our people and our allies.

To put it bluntly, I am pissed! All sorts of innocent people are falling victim to terrorist attacks that include beheadings, inhumane tortures, drowning in cages, bombings, and other inconceivable atrocities. I cannot believe that our current President, his administration, and both parties within the U.S. Congress and Senate, fail to show world leadership and take appropriate actions. Sure they are quick to take credit for air-strikes, and training other countries’ fighting forces, along with a few other mundane actions. We are in a war,…yes WAR with an ideology that justifies and even glorifies the killing of innocent people.

So, what worthwhile actions are our elected officials going to do to keep America safe now…not at some convenient time later?

Congress is preparing to go into recess and not return until early September. Hopefully, I am wrong, but I doubt Congress will accomplish little more than talk in a partisan manner. We must demand more! Why should they be allowed go on recess during such threatening times?

As for the President, I believe in that old saying, “past history is the best predictor of future behavior.” Personally, I think this administration is planning to do little more than “kick-the-can-down-the-road and remain politically correct. That is,…unless we suffer a devastating attack that demands immediate actions.

Meanwhile the media appears to be fixated on what perceived actions the new President will take when he/she assumes office—there is minimal focus on what positive actions President Obama should be taking to keep our nation safe during his remaining SIX MONTHS in office.

The Clock is ticking! It is no longer a question of “if” a major terrorist attack will take place on our soil. The real question is When? Sad, but I believe to be true! If you agree, please pass this message along and let your Congressman/woman and Senator know how you feel. But whatever you do, vote! It’s your national responsibility.
